Hello, and welcome to Acts to Grind. AtG is an adventurous look at the trials and efforts that take place while trying to use the Diablo 3 Real Money Auction House.
I am a person who has been out of work for a good deal of time, despite many attempts to combat this. Between being overqualified for most positions and a variety of other factors, honest work is hard to come by. Being able to make rent is a pipe dream that is currently very unlikely.
Over the past few months, I have warmed up to the idea of earning some money through playing Diablo 3. I have strong experience with other games with auction houses and markets; I’ve been known to have a monopoly on a server economy. D3 will be very different because of the nature of unpredictability and actual currency. We will see together just how different it is.
This series will focus on being as candid as possible. My target audience are those who want to learn about the RMAH and those who want to watch someone else’s dreams crash and burn.
I have a series of successive goals for the RMAH. They will sound simple for the scope of my project, but that’s what’s needed. Starting small.
- My first goal is to make a sale on the RMAH.
- My second goal is to make a sale every day on the RMAH.
- My third goal is to make some sort of real-world purchase with earnings from the RMAH.
The third goal sounds like the easiest, assuming the other two are true. But we don’t know yet what nefarious red tape may lurk online. We shall see.
In time, I would like to add streaming and videos to my list of productions. However, the last thing I want to do right now is add to the noise without real content. You earn respect through quality, not quantity.
